Live for moments you can’t put into words!!

Recently, I was given a star student award and was very happy with it, until our HOS told me this:

This is a seven-year-old memory, it’s one of the best (because it’s a very rare one), my HOS told me that the school is taking some children to a glorious ship, not any normal ship, it was a floating library. I was so excited to visit the floating library. I and one more student from my class of FS 2 were selected to go for the trip. As we boarded the bus, I knew it will be a mind blowing, fantastic and a wonderful educational trip.

I boarded the bus excitedly, as I entered I saw very less children so I knew that the trip would be a special one. During the bus ride, I asked few of my friends, “what is a floating library?”, but none of them had the slightest idea.


Finally, we arrived, to the glorious ship, we reached our destination. We were so curious to know, all our questions were answered, I let out a sigh of relief. I stood in front of the majestic cruise ship in complete awe. It was so amazing I cannot describe its beauty in words, it was a once in a lifetime sight.

We slowly and calmly entered to a fully furnished, wooden decored, heavily glazed library, with books I have never even seen. Our HOS introduced us the feature present in the glamorous library. Then she announced, “You can start buying whatever souvenirs you like”. My friends directly started their shopping spree whilst I searched for something interesting and useful. I finally took 3 story books and one book with glow in the dark stickers (to decorate my room).

The time flew away like birds gliding through the sky. We purchased our souvenirs and left the majestic cruise ship. I reached home at 5 o’ clock, my parents asked me about the wonderful experience and I described it just the way I have written. It’s a memory I have carried for over seven years, its hard as concrete in my heart, I will never forget this beautiful memory, never!
